Lady Gaga's ArtRAVE: The ARTPOP Ball Tour!

So I was lucky and blessed to see Gaga perform live yesterday at the Air Canada Center and while it wasn't as magical as some of the other live concerts I have been to, it surely held up great on its own!
I remember just a little less than 1 year ago when I was super excited for ARTPOP and this captured a little of the excitement.

I honestly did not think for twice that I might see her live soon after. While ARTPOP struggled commercially and critically, I still love it a lot and was glad that she performed most of the songs. I was really glad she skipped Dope. I mean do not get me wrong, it's a good song but it got old quick and let's not with the cringe-worthy lyrics.

Here are some more pictures at the live show!

Quite the contrast after Gypsy was done to close the show, right?

I think the hearsay of Gaga having hip issues could possibly be true given how she cut a lot of the songs quick and the choreography while fun was definitely missing a lot of the punch she usually brings to the table. I remember her live itunes concert for ARTPOP and was blown away by the energy last year. That spark lacked a lot this time around. However I personally still enjoyed the show. She knows how to work the crowd and get them grooving to her songs and that's what really matters when you are pulling a live show.

I kind of did not even know On the Run tour was happening right beside at Rogers centre. Kind of funny and hoping there was a possible reunion between the Telephone buddies.

Here is my friend and her sisters gesture to get me ready for the concert. Apparently I was too conservative. I loved this thunder.

Finally I wanted to share about how much of a pioneer Gaga has been ever since her start with Just Dance. While people underestimate her by focusing more on her attires, one cannot doubt the fact of how big of a game changer she has been. I have always seen her as a strong-willed person and I am hoping for a major comeback with whatever she comes up with next (including the Jazz album with Tony Bennett). She was incredible the whole night and some of the stories she shared of the little monsters were inspiring not because of how heart-wrenching the stories were but because of how somehow the little monsters were able to attribute the good that happened later in those stories to Gaga. She truly is a spectacle to watch and admire.
